College: Dennison was a middle blocker at Utah Valley State, where she was a four-year starter. As a sophomore she was third in the conference in attack percentage (.345). Dennison led the conference in blocks (1.45 per set) and was 10th in the nation in total blocks (174) and 12th in blocks per set. During most of her senior season she led the country in blocks and finished second nationally in average (1.65 per set) and fourth in total blocks (191), with the total blocks setting the school's single season record. Dennison left the school as the all time leader in block assists (531) and second in total blocks (572), and she ended with 976 career kills.
Personal: Formerly Maddison Wolford, she married Dustin Dennison, who was a wrestler at Utah Valley State, in June 2015. Dennison was born in Ohio and grew up in Indiana, then went to high school in Utah. Her high school team won consecutive state championships in 2012 and 2013.
