• McGuire and Casebeer had two of their three main draw match wins of the 2013 season in St. Petersburg, including a come-from-behind three-set victory over fourth-seeded Ryan Doherty and Olympic Gold Medalist Todd Rogers.

2013: McGuire reunited with Jeremy Casebeer on the AVP Tour, playing six events with a best of seventh. They advanced from three qualifiers on the year, ending with a 10-2 mark in qualifiers. The pair ended as the 10th-ranked team on tour.
2012: McGuire played 10 times across four tours, including twice with Drost and seven times with Joey Dykstra. McGuire's only AVP event, in Cincinnati with Drost, marked his first ever AVP main draw.
2011: Domestically, McGuire played six events on three different tours with three various partners. He and Drost also played in two NORCECA tournaments, with a best of third.
2010: McGuire played in two AVP qualifiers with two new partners, and also played in three AVP Young Guns events, winning once with Taylor Wilson. He also finished third in a NORCECA event with Seth Burnham.
2009: McGuire formed a partnership with Avery Drost, and the duo played in five AVP qualifiers.
2008: McGuire played in three AVP qualifiers with three different partners, including one with Jeremy Casebeer. That partnership competed in the FIVB U-21 World Championships in England, finishing ninth.
2007: McGuire played in one AVP qualifier with Will Montgomery, and they also played in the qualifier of the FIVB U-21 World Championships in Italy.
2006: McGuire made his pro beach volleyball debut at the age of 18 with a pair of AVP qualifiers with Joey Dykstra.

College: McGuire was a libero at UC-Santa Barbara, where he set a UCSB single season record for digs (322).

Personal: Born in Los Angeles, McGuire has a younger sister, Megan. He began playing volleyball in 2002, and was a Volleyball Magazine All-America as well as Fab 50 recipient. In November 2014 he married fellow beach volleyball player Heather Hughes.
