Ott played beach volleyball at Colorado Mesa. After her freshman year was cut short due to COVID, she posted a 5-3 record in her first official season of action, then followed that up with a 10-7 mark as a sophomore. In her junior season she played primarily with Hailey Peters and compiled a 14-10 record on court five. Ott finished 16-16 as a senior, splitting time with Taylor Scherff and Barett Nolan while moving up from from court five to four to three during the season.
