Beach Bits:
• Entering the 2021 AVP season, Crabb reached the semifinals in 27 of his previous 30 AVP tournaments.
• In Hermosa Beach 2017 Crabb defeated his older bother Trevor in the championship match, marking the first time two brothers met in an AVP title match since June 1991 when Sinjin Smith defeated his younger brother Andrew.

2020: Crabb and Jake Gibb had two seconds and a third in the three AVP tournaments, losing to Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena each time. Crabb tied for the tour lead in digs per set (5.5) and was fifth in hitting percentage (.422). The pair played in two FIVB events, winning a gold and placing fifth.
2019: Crabb and Jake Gibb won four of the six AVP tournaments they played, finishing second and third in the other two events. The pair enjoyed that success despite advancing to the semifinals undefeated just once. Crabb led the AVP in digs (5.27 per set). They played 10 FIVB tournaments, with a best of fourth in their last outing in the World Tour Finals.
2018: Crabb began the AVP season with a second-place finish alongside Tim Bomgren in their first event together. Crabb and Jake Gibb played six AVP tournaments together, winning twice and finishing second twice. Crabb ended the season ranked second in digs (5.21 per set). On the FIVB Tour Crabb and Gibb played nine tournaments with a best of fourth.
2017: Crabb formed a partnership with Jake Gibb, and they won two of their first four AVP events as partners. In Hermosa Beach he defeated his brother Trevor in the championship match. For the season they had four semifinal appearances in six tournaments, and lost just six matches all year. Crabb again led the Tour in digs (5.52 per set), while also finishing second in kills (7.36 per set). Internationally Crabb and Gibb placed fifth three times in their six FIVB events.
2016: Crabb played all seven AVP tournaments with his brother Trevor, reaching the semifinals each time including three finals. Crabb led the AVP Tour in digs (5.93 per set) and was eighth in kills (6.46 per set). The Crabbs had a best of ninth three times in their four FIVB events together.
2015: Started the AVP season with Spencer McLachlin in the first three events, advancing from the qualifier twice. He then partnered with his brother Trevor for the last four events, and they finished third twice, including in Manhattan Beach. Crabb ended the year with the most digs per set on Tour (5.40) and was eighth in kills (6.59). Made his debut on the FIVB Tour with his brother Taylor, finishing ninth after emerging from the qualifier.
2014: Did not compete.
2013: In his first AVP tournament, played with his brother Trevor and they advanced from the qualifier in Manhattan Beach.
2012: Did not compete.
2011: Made his pro beach volleyball debut with his brother Trevor, finishing 49th.

College: Crabb was an outside hitter at Long Beach State, where he was a two-time First Team All-American, and as a junior was selected the AVCA National Player of the Year. He left the school third all time in digs and double-doubles, and seventh in kills. As a senior he led the nation in kills per set and as a junior led the nation in total kills.

Personal: Crabb has one brother, Trevor, who is also a professional beach volleyball player. Crabb's mother, Paula, was a gymnast at Southern Connecticut University and his uncle, Tony, was an assistant coach for the 1984 U,S, National Volleyball Team which won the Olympic Gold Medal in Los Angeles. Crabb's cousin is Lindsey Berg, a three-time Indoor Volleyball Olympian, winning the Silver Medal in both 2008 and 2012. Crabb competed in both volleyball and basketball at Punahou High School in Honolulu, winning the state championship as both a junior and senior.
