Bio Bits

Cooke was a middle blocker at Michigan State, where she led the team to its first NCAA Final Four appearance in 1995. That season she became one the first two Spartans to be named All-Americans. She was first-team all-Big Ten in both 1995 and 1996, and was an academic all-Big Ten member for three seasons. Cooke was a third-team Academic All-American in 1995 and a first-team member in 1996. She set the single season record for blocks at MSU as well as for all-time blocks. Additionally, she is the only player in program history to register 1,000 kills, 1,000 digs and 500 blocks.

Cooke missed two seasons in high school due to broken bones in her leg. After graduating from MSU, she played professionally in Holland for two seasons and coached an elite youth boys' team as well.
