Goers' best domestic finish was a 2000 ninth with Scott Davenport at Hermosa Beach. Goers and Brad Torsone tied for seventh in the inaugural beach volleyball competition at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada. Goers graduated from Hinsdale (Ill.) High School in 1991 and Hope College in Holland, Mich., in 1995.
