College: Anderson plays beach volleyball at Florida State. In her shortened freshman season, she went 12-1 mostly with Kate Privett on court three. As a redshirt freshman she ended 32-6, mostly on court three with Sara Putt, with nine wins over top-10 opponents. In her redshirt sophomore season FSU played for the National Championship and Anderson had a 31-12 record with 14 victories over top-10 foes, playing alongside Brook Bauer on court one. She was named the collegebeachvb.com Breakthrough Player of the Year in 2022.
Personal: Anderson's mother, Dr. Marianne May, played indoor volleyball and softball at Northwestern. She has four siblings, Emmy, Erik, Jared and Cassie, who played beach volleyball at Florida State. Anderson earned AAA California rating at the age of 15, and was the number one ranked 18U player in CBVA rankings in 2019. She was a 2019 AVCA First Team High School All American. Anderson was home schooled for six years and graduated high school two years early, spending one year traveling the world, then began college at the age of 17.
