Sprague had a 2000 ninth with Valinda Hilleary. Sprague graduated from Walnut Creek’s Northgate High School in 1987 and Cal State-Chico in 1991. She earned a Master’s degree from Cal State-Sacramento in 1994. Sprague, who played two seasons of indoor volleyball in Sacramento, teaches physical education at USC. She was married in August 2004.
